I've been in this current cg for 5 years. Over the years, we have been thru much sufferings and hardships. I remembered one of your sibling was hospitalized. Some of us was there to visit and pray for healing and speedy recovery upon your sibling. Thankfully, she is on her way to recovery.
The following year was my turn. I remembered that i posted in a group chat that my sis is in hospital. And just when i thought people or at least one of you could make time and visit us. But sadly, none came.
Over the years, you called me your ''brother'', ''faithful'' etc.. I was there when you needed me to be. In prayer meetings, in cell group meetings and other big and important events, you always see me there. But
Where were you when i needed you the most?
And now i started serving another cell group as a guitarist. And guess what? You said you are disappointed with me. When you are upset with me, you can say ur piece of mind. But when i was in need, where were you?

Feel for you
I have been thinking about a few. And today, i would like i to share with you one of the things.
Remember Xiuhui? Well, i once posted here that i used to really liked her alot like 3 years ago? Well, though i really liked her before, i kept the my fondness for her deep in my heart after she started a relationship with Joseph aka Xianbi. Recently, we started whatsapping again. Here i really wanna thank God for the chance to have lunch with her again.
Something i just found out from her, or perhaps it's my lack of info, but it's true that i was the last to know that the relationship ended last year? Oh well, though i still see both at church, i didn't know. When she told me the relationship has ended, somehow i felt more for her than happy. Rightfully, i can be happy. Why? Because she is single again hence i can ask her out again. But no. Honestly, i don't feel happy. Whether she is single/attached/married, i hope i am still her friend. And as a friend, if she sad, i am sad. If she is happy, i am happy.
Though the feelings are still in my heart, i do hope to get to know her better. And though i am of age to find a partner, i just want to know her better.
Till the next time we meet again, be happy.

What people really need?
Since last month, i have been going to Khatib Camp to trained for my IPPT and guess what? I met Max. And since then, we have been training together. The highlight of the meeting was not on the training but the fellowship, conversation and sharing over dinner.
Over the last few sessions, we have been sharing this:
The fact is we are in the same cell group. Max and Janice, Junyong and Jiawen are the latest addition and have been with us since 2012. Me on the other hand, have been in this cell group for 4 years.
In any organisation, company or group, it is proven & tested, that whenever an event has been organised, people or at least a handful will go. Eg: A worker has been given instructions to carry out a task. Sure he will do it because he is only a worker. And because he is paid, he have to do it. But let's say something happened to his family member, shouldn't the employer/supervisor visit the employee/worker?
It's one thing to be loyal to your company, and yet it's another thing to be caring and showing concern to your fellow members/employees.
No matter how one is or can be loyal to, he/she still need someone in times of need. Yes, he/she may be living in luxury, having all the gadgets and technologies in his/her place, but have no one to share, he is still alone. A scholar may have achieved the a number of awards, degrees, but he have or no job, how can the scholar utilize?
What people really need? The answer: People.
God is the best example. No matter how rich or poor, smart or shabby, He still accepts us.

What? January is over?!
With a blink of an eye, January is over liao. Sadly, but life has to move on. Even right now, i am back to office to prepare some documents for the last worker who will touched down in about two hours time. I just want to say that time waits for no one. And indeed. I only have 24 hours a day. It's either i used it or waste it. And now, time is precious, it's not like i am dying or what, but is to do the right thing at the right place. It may seems impossible, but if you planned carefully and in details, the chances are you'll succeed. I have some things that i wish i could share, and i will, but not now. So stay tune, folks..

A blog post for you
You probably won't be able to see this but i still want to write. Looking back at the four months, it was indeed good and fun. I'm not sure about the rest, but i personally felt that you're a great help, a fun-going colleague and probably the one dinner buddy in office. You said you will be back, but before you go, i want to thank you for three things:
1. I thank you for being helpful.
There were so many things i couldn't finish, but because of you, things were done.
2. I thank you for being thoughtful.
In the early days, i kept forgetting about so many things. But because of your constant reminder, i can remember more.
3. I thank you for the time spent.
Though four months is not long, but at least i can know you better. The time spent together, will be remembered.
Though you are leaving, i still hate to say this: I wish you all the best in the near future. I am sorry for you leaving, but hey, give me a call when you are coming back.

Eventful 2013
Title:
Eventful 2013
Looking back at 2013, I’ve witnessed many good, bad and ugly
events. Seeing people come and go,

this trip, thank you for giving me the chance to play for the team. To my ‘’fans’’,
who always laugh at my jokes, thank you for laughing. If not for your laughter, my jokes would
never be funny. It’s ur laughter that makes the atmosphere so light-hearted.
And to the rest, thank God you’re there with me, helping me, guiding me,
teaching me.
In
closing, I want to thank God for all friends that He has given to me. It
wouldn't be so if without you. Life is indeed much easier, better with friends
and family around you. .
I do not count myself worthy, but God has shown me His grace and mercy through
this year 2013. Looking back at 2011, though it's not a good year, but i want
to believe that 2014 will be even better, more awesome.Whatever i didn't do it
2013, i want to see it in 2014. In 2014 i want to:
1. Use my skills,
and talents to be a blessing to the people around me.
2. Get to know
people better, and more.
3. Strengthen the
unity and love in church.

Humility
Full Definition of Humility: the quality or state of not thinking you are better than other people : the quality or state of being humble
Recently i had a chance to meet up with one of the workers. I was told that his work permit is being cancelled and have to depart Singapore. On the day of his departure, i met up with him and sent him to the airport. As we are on the way to Terminal 2, he was sharing with me and asked me in a humble way,'' why am i being sent back? What have i done?'' After his sharing, i was just thinking thru what he shared.
To me, i was touched by his sharing and the way he shared. Sometimes, bad things do happened to good, hardworking, faithful in the little things people. Throughout the entire situation that he shared with me, he remain calm and continued working as scheduled. He couldn't be bothered or be emotionally attached to the happenings around him. He was focus on the work that was set before him. People always says that there are two sides to the story, well i believe his side was the good side. Why? 1. When he was being attacked by his drunk colleague, he did not retaliate physically or verbally. 2. He reported the case to his superior, and have them handled the case rather than taking things into his hands. Even when he received the dismissal notice, he chose to ask why in a humble, lowly attitude in front of his superior. Even while he was sharing with me, he was calm and asked me to ask his superior humbly why was he dismissed.
Pride and dignity are important. But make no mistakes about it. Meekness is not weakness. Just because you have small fists and triceps, doesn't make you humble. Notice i mentioned, ''the quality or state of being humble'' Humility is in the mindset, the way we think and feel. And how is humility shown? It's by the words we speak, the way we carry ourselves, the way how we live our daily life.
